Guitarminator plays live at the United Nations youth Peace Conference
The United Nations Association is a network of organisations aimed towards creating awareness amongst ordinary people about a wide range of issues concerning world peace, development and social problems under the umbrella of the United Nations system. This conference was the first of its kind and was the culmination of the recent growth of the UNA-UK youth affiliated bodies in the universities across the U.K.. We now have UNA Youth affiliates from Wales, Bristol, Oxford, Southampton, Reading, Warwick, York and Edinburgh Universities.
Nothing can inspire more than to meet and forge friendships with friends of similar interests.
Taplow Court which was a favourite country retreat for leaders of Society in late Victorian and early Edwardian England, is now beautifully restored and hosted by Soka Gakkai International UK, a Buddhist organization which has long been a great contributor to the effort of world peace.
